Hospital Policies

Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.   As we have only 1 doctor working, delays may occur as we are acting as emergency doc, primary care doc and specialist, all rolled into one, with the added bonus of the unpredictability of cats!

Orange and white cat

For your convenience, 'drop-off' appointments are available. A 'drop off' means you could bring your cat at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a either a 1/2 or full day. Usually we will ask you to 'drop off' sometime in the morning so we can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once we have completed the exam, we will give you a call to go over the recommendations and to set up a discharge time.

Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other cats. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your cat. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or preferably in pet carriers before your appointment.  Cats are often most comfortable in their familiar carrier while at the clinic.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and E transfers - preferably for contactless payment.

We also accept debit and cash.

Patient Arrival Policy

All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.
